Our History

Our history:

The year 2010 marked a significant milestone in the journey of Kind Heart Africa. With the generous support of the Dar es Salaam Association in Spain, a special donation was made to construct the first building for our orphanage. This pivotal moment led to the opening of our facility on April 2, 2010, where we welcomed our first group of children who began residing at the center and attending school. The event was a joyous occasion, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the members of the association in Spain for their invaluable contribution. 2010

Following the inauguration of our first building, wonderful developments continued to unfold. Notably, Mr. P.S. Patel attended our opening ceremony and subsequently reached out to his network for further support. His efforts led to a fruitful collaboration with “Reach Out Now,” a UK-based organization, along with Mr. Joshi Sathyavan and his family, who expressed a keen interest in supporting our orphanage project in Tanzania. In August 2010, Mr. Sathyavan visited the center and generously donated funds for the construction of a dormitory for the orphans

This dormitory was completed and opened on August 28, 2011, allowing us to accommodate up to 94 children. More information about this new dormitory can also be found through the provided links

2014

In 2014, we achieved another significant expansion with the construction of our third building, which serves as the Administration building. This facility includes five visitor rooms, a library, a kitchen, and a dining room capable of comfortably seating around 150 children. The funds for this building were generously generated by the Trustees of the Human Welfare Trust through the Anaaya Dance Group.
Additionally, in the same year, we completed our fourth building: a dormitory for girls. The funds for this project were raised through the “To Help” organization from the UK, and it was officially opened on November 30, 2014, by the trustees of the organization.
Through these developments, Kind Heart Africa Centre has grown significantly, enabling us to provide a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children in Tanzania. We are grateful for the support from our partners and donors, which has made it possible to continue our mission of empowering these children and helping them realize their potential.
